What's the best compliment you have ever gotten?
"I like your toes."
Last year, I moved to a new school and didn't know a soul. The bus hadn't had my stop on their list and so my mom had to come all the way home (she works an hour away and was already at work) and take me to school herself. I was almost two hours late. I arrived at my second period class and a few girls immediately came up to introduce themselves to me. After my horrible morning, they were definitely a relief.
The first girl, Abbey, looked down at my feet and told me, "I like your toes." I had a design on my toe nails from my last pedicure. Those were the first words she ever said to me and to this day we are still the best of friends. It might seem like a small, weird little compliment but it made my day on the first day at my new school and earned me one of the best friends I've had and will ever have.

That's awesome, if a little creepy (though if your toes were decorated I guess thats ok? I'm not so strong on toe compliment etiquette) Weird little thngs like that are the best part of friendships.
